Blackened Death Metallers WITCHRIST are here with their new album "Vritra" to try and show you how to metal. Will they succeed or fall short of the line? The album is a whopping 3 songs long and spans an astounding 12 minutes before finally coming to a close you never thought was coming, wow right? Wanna hear more?
In some cases (the less Black Metal vocals) sound like you're being yelled at be someone who's been smoking since they were still just a sperm cell. To be fair though let's talk about an actual song, "Transmuting Rituals" for instance this is the shortest of the 3 songs, offers no sort of bridge between the first and last songs and is completely repetitive with no hook in either the instrumentals or the vocals, this completely destroyed any flow the album may have had between when the first song ended and the last song begins.
I hate to sound like this I like hearing good new music but this just isn't it, there's nothing to pull me in and there's no reason for me to go back to it. No replay value, no catch, nothing special.
