Wisdom Call was formed by singer Christian Liljegren in August 1999. Christian is most wellknown for his vocal work at the neoclassical band Narnia.

It seems that they are playing good melodic classic metal. Fast and heavy songs with lots of energy are mixed with instrumental hymns and beautiful ballads with good and strong arrangements packed into a great production. You can understand that their major musical influences are Dio, Pretty Maids or Iron Maiden, lots of twinguitars and powerful vocals with a sound for the new millennium.

The debut album of Wisdom Call contains a whole bunch of great songs among them also a classic cover tune from the 80s, Europe's Wings of tomorrow. Exept of Christian also Narnia-drummer Andreas Johansson and the Stormwind musicans Andreas Olsson and Per Hallmann can be heard on the album. Christian has also co-written a couple of the songs with Lars Chriss from Lions Share.
Wisdom Call shows metal without and pathos or clichees, straight but right on target.Or in Christian's own words : Good melodies will never die. Top highlights of their debut cd are : I believe , Never Satisfied and Through Fire an excellent ballad. A must have album for everyone who respects his cd music box.
