Full Blast Fuckery

WILSON a band formed in Detroit USA in 2010 prefer not to classify themselves as anything really, other than a band who enjoy a nice party, I mean a fucking nice party with girls and booze and a huge love for touring and kicking asses live. Their music remind me of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY at times.
Let's say that their style of music fits more in the Crossover Sludge mainstream, it feels a bit commercial to my taste of music really, never mind that because if you are into that kind of music then you will have no problem with "Full Blast Fuckery".
First track to open the CD is "My Life My Grave" a very groove song with cool vocals and catching riffs, it is not heavy it definitely sounds modern. Then you have "Better Off (Strictly Doods) this song follows the same path, nothing really changes really, I find it quite boring actually, to me it is modern Rock And Roll, does nothing for me really. Having said that though, I have to be fair with WILSON, their music is not bad, I don't think technically is great, but they do a good job in what they do really, the CD has a vibe, has a soul and definitely grows on you the more you listen to it, their sound is very American so I am sure they have a crowd to cater for.
I do like their attitude though, being on the road, parties and bring chaos to the towns they visit, it is very cool indeed.
I am sure seeing them live could be a lot of fun, and a good live band nothing can beat it!!
As production goes I will fault nothing, all good and the art cover is fucking cool, tells a lot about the band. Keep on partying fellas, all the best!!!
