Weapon UK - Rising From The Ashes album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: WEAPON UK; signed via Puresteel-Records, hailing from England - performing Heavy Metal, on their debut album entitled: "Rising From The Ashes" (released April 22nd 2014).

Since formation in 1980 (as FAST RELIEF, and then WEAPON not long after - being forced to change their name to WEAPON UK in 2012) the quintet in question have 2 Singles; a Demo, and a Compilation album in their discography so far. I am introduced to their debut album entitled: "Rising From The Ashes"; 13 tracks ranging at around 48:15, the band arrange an intricately designed development of hard-hitting Heavy Metal distinctions. As the ambiently operatic prelude of "The Awakening" begins the record; "Ride The Maria!" brings the chaos with constructive mayhem and a grandiose manifestation of meticulous rhythms and concretely solid grit, generating elegant heaviness with unrelenting stability. Diligently crafting creatively dynamic diversty, that variates with dominant hammering.

Consisting of Danny Hynes on vocals; the frontman conveys on consistent clean sing that has a radio-friendly flamboyancy to it, as "Fountain Of Paradise" boistrously demonstrates a flourishing execution of exquisite harmonies and battering instrumentation. Jeff Summers on guitars/vocals also distributes complex dexterity, with extremely catchy bounciness in the blistering "Warrior". WEAPON UK establish efficiently composed adroitness which attributes an enjoyably entertaining experience; the borderline foundation embellishes on groovy punchline persistancy as powerhouse drummer Darren Lee exemplifies on adrenaline-fuelled aesthetics in the song "Ready 4 U", showcasing relentless pummelling and proficiently performed ramifications.

Audible bass/vocalist Tony Forsythe portrays organic substances of salubrious audibility in the epic "Burning Skies", cohesively adapt with conceptual adeptness and frolicking chugs and gallops that harden the groove which will make you dance for sure. "The Rocker" robusts with profusely rocking thunder, thumping with jumpy nimbleness which rapidly swifts with detailed results. WEAPON UK progress with technical rampages that onslaughts with fluidly polished sound production expertise, "Alamein" tones the heaviness by a small margin, as it provides singsong material that manages to keep me captivated with atmospheric finesse. "Wonderland" has unprecedented uniqueness, amplified with excelling contributions that generates originally memorable musicianship equalities.

"Bloodsoaked Rock" brings back the madness; mesmerized with efficacious effectivity with a silver lining of electrical energy, embodied with orchestral elements which implements inventive intentions. "Celebration Time" has tenacious specialities, while the overall concluding song "Killer Instinct" ends the disc with a sonically stimulating end.

Bottom line; WEAPON UK certainly outdone themselves with "Rising From The Ashes", as I discovered a distinguishable band who remarkably showcased prolific stampedes of vehement skill - definitely worth checking out.<
