After 13 years of formation Swedish Blackened Thrash Metal band VORNTH finally release their debut album, and what an album!
From the album cover depicting a cult of white-hooded priests sacrificing a virgin to Satan one can already guess what sort of album this will be: pure, old-school-inspired, truly evil Heavy Metal and you wouldn't be wrong! This has got to be one of the most evil records I have heard in a while.
VORNTH's sound is heavily inspired by the early DESTRUCTION and KREATOR, in special the latter. The album can be divided in two parts, the first part which is riff-based shorter songs and the second part, that has got to be my favorite, which is composed of longer songs with complex structures.
This album is highly recommended for all fans of Blackened Thrash Metal out there!
