Harmony is defined as the simultaneously sounded combination of musical notes to produce chords and chord progressions in order to create a pleasing effect; combined with some of the greatest riffs and lyrical constructions I have been fortunate to witness in the last few years  "The Atlas of Spiritual Apocalypse" is without any doubt one of the finest pieces of musical production that i have been fortunate to come across over the last few years.  There is a phenomenal contrast that is created between the music and the voice, an environment that allows for the listener to be involved in a way that few other music genres can recreate. "Remnants of the Heart" begins the fashioning of an alternate world that i would gladly walk into anytime to disintoxicate myself from the meme and entertainment news infested world.

"The Hollows" the third track on this the first full length album by VOIDFALLEN after a short two year career, continues on the same path, with exactly what a great metal song should have (at least in my opinion), riffs, riffs and more riffs with an immovable and and well built rhythm section courtesy of Mika Lumijärvi and Lauri Myllylä the talented drummer and bass player that provide one of the sturdiest musical spinal chords depicted in the whole album; only to end with a sonorous and dismal sound effect than immediately gives this and the next track a deeper and deeper effect to immerse the listener even further.

Examples like these can only serve to quote time and time again how this first full-length album by VOIDFALLEN is far from being improvised or even the work of take it as it comes artists; the results is more a potion calmly and meticulously brewed that has cared for every ingredient thrown into the cauldron, just like the gathering of hidden and mysterious pieces that acquire a bleak and out this world power when garnered before an entity on unfathomable presence as it is depicted in the video of "From Souls to Embers" which outlines another template for the upcoming bands which seek to have production quality, both aurally and visually. A must have for the rare but exquisite material collectors which pride on possessing rare jewels in their Metal Vaults. A great introduction for an outstanding band; Another triumph for Finnish Metal. One can only hope to witness such prowess live in the time to come.
