Rock Thunderbolt
Vns Vinicius The Guitar Ripping
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: VNS VINICIUS THE GUITAR RIPPING; signed via Vinicius Ulises Lima, hailing from Portuguese grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their new EP and 3rd release entitled: "Rock Thunderbolt" (released September 13th, 2019).
Since formation in 2017; the duo in question have an single entitled: "A Shine In Darkness" (released in 2017), a full-length album entitled: "Instrumental" (released in 2018) and this here newly released EP entitled: "Rock Thunderbolt". 5 tracks ranging at around 15:18; VNS VINICIUS THE GUITAR RIPPING arranges an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal developments. "World Disappear" begins the EP; conveying amplified adrenaline, boistrously bouncy crunchiness & groovy executions that ultilize uniquely versatile vehemence. Attributing adroitly composed harmonies, gritty catchiness & a barraged frenzy of flamboyantly gnarly fabrications that showcase quintessential virtuosity with progressively technical potency. Vibrantly manifesting meticulous ramications, quirky snappiness & a peculiar sound production.
Consisting of VNS Vinicius who performs everything but the vocals; the multitasker demonstrates blistering guitar fretworks, dynamic dexterity & rip-roaring shreds that thunder with soaring melody. The titular track embellishes on experimental finesse; portraying rapidly swift nimbleness, organically robust substance & solid punchiness. The drums have this rambunctious but bizarre computerized vibe to it, but consistently hammers into a battering foundation of borderline stomps & meaty pummelling. The bass is audible, but feels frenetic. It adds a hybrid dimension but it seems jaded. The oddity song would have to be "Maximum Inspiration Of Synthesizer Creation"; making use of the synth overloads the track with its bloated use of the mechanic, this soundscape renders oversaturated & tiresome at times.
Maycon Oliveira on vocals screams with rawly rough pipes; raspy lungs that tear through with ragged perseverence, while the songwriting musicianship thrashes with pulsating thumpiness & speedy rhythms. "Lotus" brings back chaotic chugging; frolicking galloping, and distinctive characteristics that rumble with ruthless pandemonium & reverberating mayhem. The overall concluding song: "Policia" is a cover of the SEPULTURA classic, and rebuilds the hype consistently as it establishes momentously primitive potential. Bottom line; I discovered an interesting band who revolved around a creative flair of craftsmanship that may appeal to some, but for me...it felt too enforced. Stll talented, however. Hopefully next time VNS Vinicius will deliver a more stronger outrè, you may want to cautiously approach "Rock Thunderbolt" but listen to the cover at least.
