Seed Of An Ancient Pain
Vlad In Tears

Ok. What do you except from a band that says they are playing gothic rock and the first track of their new album is a ballad?!? And, in particular, a gothic rock band from Italy! If you want to read more about VLAD IN TEARS, read bellow.
I tried hard to find anything about those guys (can anyone tell me why?), since their official site is for those that speaks Italic and only them! Didn't find a single English word in it. Only the buttons are in English...I wonder why. The only things I managed to gather are that VLAD IN TEARS is a creation of Kris and begun as a cover band for H.I.M.. When the line up was completed, they released this album, in order to play symphonic dark gothic metal. In their dreams!
Ok, if anyone is a H.I.M. fan, will probably give a chance to those guys. If not, stay away! In front of them, H.I.M. is the ultimate band. The instrumentation sucks, the accent of Kris brings to my mind Super Mario singing metal. You remember his accent, right? They are saying that are influenced by SISTERS OF MERCY and THE CURE. That's a sacrilege! Not to mention the cover of the album. I won't even bother to comment them for posing.
Anyway. Enough said. I hope that VLAD IN TEARS members find an office job, quit music and never record another song again! I'm going to listen to The new CONCEPT OF GOD album to listen to some proper music. As for my verdict...
