With such a name and such a logo the only things this band could play would be Thrash or Death Metal. VIOLATED didn't "disappoint" me and offered me approximately 28 minutes of Thrash Metal and I guess it's me who will disappoint them with what I am going to write below...

Hailing from Norway, this quartet was formed in 2004 and after a couple of demos and a split CD it is their time for a full-length release. The album is released through the also Norwegian Duplicate Records and has been mastered by the one and only Dan Swano at his own Unisound Studio.

The band's aggressive Thrash Metal is not something that would instantly attract someone's attention. More than decent riffing, a nice combination of fast outbreaks and mid tempo parts, raw vocals... All is good until now, but especially with this old school Thrash Metal trend we are witnessing you have to be more than good to make someone spend his time and money to check you out and buy your album. Unfortunately VIOLATED have nothing special that would make them differ from the rest Thrash Metal bands out there
