Unlimited Addiction - Keeper Of The Knowledge album cover

I really believe this band has a really bright future. They are a real throwback to the Traditional Heavy Metal scene from the eighties. They don't pull any punches and it's pretty in your face. They seem to go in a number of different directions but you can always feel that Heavy Metal Vibe when you listen to each and every song off of this rather awesome album.

They don't stray off the beaten path. You can sense from the very beginning the influences of the legends like DIO, early IRON MAIDEN and some songs remind me of the heavier side of WHITESNAKE and DEEP PURPLE. They seem to be highly influenced by bands like RAINBOW as well. It's an ode to some of the best stuff of that generation of bands; a generation that we will never see again. We can bitch and moan but the past is the past, Heavy Metal is a revolving door and is very cyclical!

The band reminded me a lot of TIM "THE RIPPER" OWENS solo stuff, the singer has that same presence and all of the band members really seem loose and loving playing live. Heavy Metal is to be felt in person, the CDs don't catch that energy and pure power you can only feel with live performances.

I saw a number of live performances of the band on YouTube and they are really awesome. The vocalist is on par with some of the greats and this guy can belt out live like he does on this CD.

The riffs are catchy; never too slow or too dull. It has a very consistent pace and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this band was actually from Spain. This sounded very American; you can sense the influences from the American Heavy Metal Bands and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

The artwork for the album is pretty nice and it is a nice touch; an homage if you will to the really nice artworks from old bands like JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN.

The production is top notch, you can see that in this day and age, you can really do something great on your own and this is a brilliant example.

If you love eighties Power and Heavy Metal like ACCEPT, SAXON and the aforementioned bands, this is for you!
