I am proud to present to you: TURRIS EBURNEA; signed via Everlasting Spew Records, hailing from the United States of America/ Italian grounds - on their debut self-titled EP: "Turris Eburnea" (released March 15th, 2021). Since formation in 2020; the duo in question have only this here debut, self-titled EP in their discography so far. "Turris Eburnea" has 4 tracks that ranges at around... TURRIS EBURNEA arranges an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Progressive/Technical Death Metal amalgamations.

Opening up with this trailblazing rift on wildly rushing synergy; ruthless pandemonium within the "Unified Fields" unleashes this primitively raw spectrum on striking Progressive/Technical Death Metal manifestations that revel with steamrolling mayhem, this meticulous static of rampantly rompy meatiness monstrously utilizes vehemently potent vibrancy that thunders with profusely robust patterns which pursuit with this momentous stability on blistering but boisterously bouncy adrenaline from Gabriele Gramaglia who performs on everything but the rumbling reverberation of the audio bass from Nicholas McMaster. The vocals soar with throaty raspiness, surging with deep, guttural growls as they bellow with tight gnarliness.

The guitars embody a crazy element, intensified with typical Prog/Tech panache. Rapidly swift, however...an incredible array of punchy nimbleness showcases a dexterously dynamic virtuosity on quintessential snappiness that infectiously injects a sulfurous yet venomous laceration on killer tempos that slays with weighty complexity. "Cotard Delusion" unravels more stompy yet thumpy piledrives that rambunctiously pummels you with outlandishly relentless chugs that frolic with galloping perseverance, where this organic substance on hybrid experimentations grinds with nasty but chaotic firepower expertise that will keep you transfixed & mesmerized at the mad tonality of snares which marvel with some ominous violins for good measure. While the penultimate track: "Syncretism Incarnate" starts off with this jarring riff within an acoustic harmony, until this instrumental hymn and a crunchy but barraged frenzy belts a bruising fabrication in clobbering bulldozing finesse as distorted maelstrom tears out this salubrious zeal on towering ramifications.

Overall concluding "Turris Eburnea" with the finale: "Malachite Mountains"; majestic patterns overarch with steely drum cymbal  hammerings in battering grittiness, as concretely detailed diligence gravitates this robotic strum while dissonant guitars and burbling bass outbursts with systematic yet manic variations of deadly diversity where a classical guitar component followed by a soundscape of various musicalities resonates with prodigiously prestigious ramifications that while messy, they were still epicly enjoyable...it's what makes Prog/Tech such a mythical sub-genre in the first place, however.

Bottom line; I am compelled to say that TURRIS EBURNEA crafted an immensely intense creation here, fueled with ambitious and adventurous musicalities; this two-piece certainly delivered a nice slab of solid Prog/Tech Death Metal on their own merits...although a groundbreaking effort, newcomers would be hard pressed with this impact. However, it is still an utterly fascinating and intriguing but thrilling effort in which it most surely deserves a spin or two - worth the discovery.
