Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: TRALLERY; signed via Art Gate Records, hailing from Spanish grounds - performing Thrash Metal, on their sophomore release entitled: "Spiritless". (released on November 4th, 2016)
Since formation in 2010; the quintet in question have only the debut album "Catalepsy" (released on June 3rd, 2013), and a Live Record entitled "Path Of Live" (released on April 1st, 2014). I'm introduced to their third thrasher "Spiritless". Thrash Metal comes running back to me once again! Don't you just love coming out of your job in a rage and then coming home to some explosive Thrash Metal to relieve yourself of any stress you may come across? I sure bloody do. TRALLERY deliver uncompromising Thrash Metal that stays true to form and formulates an unparalleled distinctive to boot. Right off the speakers; the titular track "Spiritless" begins, generating a sort of EXODUS (from the newest record "Blood In, Blood Out") incentive from the rhythmic and dextrous duo from Humberto Pol Castañeda on bass and vocals & Biel Gayà Arbona on guitars and backing vocals.
The aforementioned consists of complex development with distinct vocal cords in which showcases a fascinating blend of Hardcore vocalisation; seamlessly contribute brilliantly to the chosen sub-genre at hand. Channelling pummelling riffery of an intricate design composes up-tempo elegance and sounds exquisitely enticing for a joyous yet instrumentally fulfilling jam - the powerhouse from Sebastià Barceló Riera on drums profoundly executes an energetically destructive pattern to his set , which transforms the entire production with fiercely divine results. "Spiritless" comprises of 11 highly detailed tracks ranging at around 49:17; songs like "Abominate", "Evil Pride" & "Scavenger Crow" efficiently provide a sufficient amount of intense songwriting that's both memorable and original to the sound production - incorporating an organic aesthetic to substance which flows throughout each song incredibly.
"Unknown Confusion", "Hidden Scar" & "Hollow Stare" continue with an overflowing amount of ferocious stimulation...excessively crushing with an adept adroitness in substantial musicianship; proficiently exercising at a glaring sense of flair and showcasing clean vocals for a more slowed down perspective, immediately up-beating and traversing through with enlightening speed. "Keep Your Eyes Open", "Hunt To Kill" & "Time Is Over" extends the experience with stunning showmanship - continuing the expertise TRALLERY distribute splendidly. And so "Spiritless" concludes with "The Attraction Remains" – overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this release, this happy thrasher enjoyed a solid slab that competitively showcased prominent consistency to the Thrash genre all round. If you're hungry for something that sounds like something the American Big Four would produce; look no further, check it out via their Bandcamp for yourselves and open the pit!
