It took me some time to realize that this is not Barnes' side project TORTURE KILLER, but I finally did it! Does this band's name ring a bell? Yeah, these are the guys that won Wacken's "Metal Battle" contest in 2007. The Brazilian quartet had impressed the crowd and let's hope it can still do the same with its sixth full-length album.

The album starts with a song that incredibly reminds me of BENEDICTION's "Deadfall". What we have in this album is something like what I just mentioned, with a huge dose of Thrash Metal in it. Imagine a room where BENEDICTION jam along with DEW-SCENTED and SLAYER. "AEquilibrium" has it all, from furious blasting to catchy Thrash Metal riffs straight from the Bay Area. Even though I am incredibly annoyed by this fake drum sound every single band from this label has, I will just leave this behind just for the sake of this drummer who literally kills behind his drum kit! It seems to me that this guy is a major force behind the band and has helped the tracks have a more dynamic "attitude".

All in all nothing so amazing that will change the history of extreme music, but an album that every Thrash/Death Metal fan will probably love. Every "necessary" element is in here, since harsh vocals, shredding guitars and a tight as fuck rhythm section guarantee you a thrashing orgasm. Check them out...
