TOAD - Endless Night album cover

Today I will review the band with the unusual name T.O.A.D.. Don't worry about it, they have no appreciation towards amphibians, their name is a short for "Take Over And Destroy", very promising name for this band coming from Phoenix, Arizona that is located in the USA. This is their debut album after releasing an EP back in 2011. TOAD claim to be performing and composing Black / Sludge Metal with lyrics influenced by Horror and chaos.

Maybe the only thing that is good in this album is the artwork that pictured this release as if it was a Stoner one. Nevertheless these guys didn't surprise at all with their straightforward mix if Black and some Sludge Metal, nothing special, maybe the only thing that is special is the number of tracks on the album.

If I have to be pushed to a corner with a gun to my head I will say that only good track on this release is "Howling House", with a more epic Metal intro alongside some nice heaviness that changes into a classic Metal riffing, but that's it.

Disappointment, that's the word of the day.
