Thunder Lord - Heavy Metal Rage album cover

Well here is a fun re-release guys, THUNDER LORD, an upbeat Power Thrash band from Santiago, Chile., has just re-released their nine track album Heavy Metal Rage, and it is a Fun, Speedy, Power Thrash album that originally received low reviews. Sure the vocals are a bit harsh, but the overall sound is pretty clean, and THUNDER LORDS new album Heavy Metal Rage sounds kind of like a more well-known Pirate themed band out of Europe called ALESTORM.

Now I admit there is not much here in Heavy Metal Rage that will stray to far from your average Power Thrash release. I was hoping for a bit more variety when it comes to the songs. That being said I really liked the pace of the album, Heavy Metal Rage leaves no questions to be asked when it comes to their unique style of music, just flat out speedy Thrash. For most fans of this style of music I feel that they will rate Heavy Metal Rage by THUNDER LORD much higher than it was originally rated!

THUNDER LORD is a good band, they know what their music stands for, and the sound that Heavy Metal Rage puts out there is no short of decent quality! So let's give this re-release a Metal Temple rating shall we? Heavy Metal Rage is not for everybody. I would have to say that Heavy Metal Rage would be a great album for the more Progressive Metal fan that would perhaps like to add some fuel to the fire by adding a little Dark Themed Thrash to mix things up quite a bit! Those fans will take a liking to THUNDER LORD more than most!

Now I am unsure of THUNDER LORDS current state, and I hope to hear more from them in the future. Heavy Metal Rage is a good album that would be fun to listen to on a pirate themed vacation to the Caribbean!
