Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: THERMONUCLEAR DEVASTATION; signed via Burning Coffin Records, hailing from Chile grounds - performing Black/Thrash Metal, on their debut EP entitled: "Worshipper Of Darkness" (released September 21st, 2020).

Since formation in 2019; the trio in question have only this here debut EP in their discography so far entitled: "Worshipper Of Darkness. 6 tracks ranging at around 22:13; THERMONUCLEAR DEVASTATION arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Black/Thrash Metal amalgamations.

Opening up with this atmospheric attack in a landscape brimming in a bombing invasion with gunfire, and explosive fashion; the titular track distils a blistering calamity in frantically hasty hostility. Distorted contortion followed by a frantic combustion in wildly rushing mayhem manifests this sonically seamless retribution that strikes a bombastically berserking slab on some monstrously meaty trailblazing that skyrockets with ruthless pandemonium and bulldozing blitzkrieg. Rampantly rompy thunder pursuits this punchy synergy with yet sulfurous ramifications, snaring rhythms rivet with jumpy & venomous rebellion. Pile driving chunkiness compiles crunchy tempos that surge with weighty yet primitively raw tightness, rollicking into a boisterously bouncy frenzy; fuelled with this barraged deadliness on blackened but volatile yet thrashy uproar on nimble momentum that will rattle skulls in no time.

What's crazy about this offering is detailed within the sound production itself, although a very new band; it all sounds very much like typical yet old school havoc from demo like elements, demonstrating an experimental heft that results on clobbering atrocities that stays true to the aforementioned formulaic where the noisy yet nuclear pursuits pounds into oblivion with continuous collision.

Consisting of Kütral Vilú on bass/vocals the frontman excels at an infectious injection on some trembling reverberation that rumbles with thumpy substance while shouting with throaty raspiness, bleeding gutturals that roars with these profusely robust pipes of savagely sinister perseverance. "Midnight Aggressor" opens up with this groovy amplify in gnarly drum bangs from the Burst Commander who unleashes killer laceration mobility that slays with rambunctious firepower adrenaline, amplified extremity & hammering intensity...flooring it immensely with rapidly swift stompiness while showcasing steely precision that has a progressively technical kick to it and a borderline foundation in chiselling but flamboyant expertise that scours with organic malice - while oscillating fretworks hook a gripping crescendo that will make you want to break chairs over other chairs in no time.

"Self-destruct Instinct" elements dexterously dynamic chaos, forging concretely gritty sturdiness while thudding rips from guitarist Diabolical Ulama, relentlessly shreds with impactful force. Utilizing vehement yet meticulous maelstrom virtuosity that quintessentially speeds up with salubriously vicious tonality. "Feathered Necromancer (Vultur Gryphus)" tempestuously rips with shrieking yet rampageous exhilaration, drum cymbals pummel with aural aggression that viciously tears with visceral yet steamrolling repugnance. "Hateful Revenge" unearths rabid yet wicked stability with radical riffs and churning heat, grinding a barbaric but blasphemous attribute in hardened frolicking, galloping chugs and dark distinctions in distinguished outbursts of thrashing malignancy that stampede with violent warfare while this tribal purge of monolithic persistence rifts an anti-religious ritual of satanic proportions.

Overall concluding "Worshipper Of Darkness" with the finale crusher "Horde's Revenge" I am compelled to say that THERMONUCLEAR DEVASTATION are exactly what they say they are... destructive bruisers in belting Black/Thrash Metal fatality. An enjoyably entertaining discovery that values a bunch of replayable spins that should be checked by all fans of these sub-genres for sure. Most certaining outdoing themselves at least for a debut, while most definitely a good release - justifiable madness awaits!
