I hate it when I get to review releases from bands that I am not able to describe the music that they play, but I also love the fact the these bands have created their own, personal sound. You got it right. THE SONIC REVOLUTION belongs to this category. It doesn't matter if such a band sounds good to my ears or not, the fact that their sound is totally theirs is something I admire.

Formed in 2004, THE SONIC REVOLUTION had one and only goal to achieve right from the start, to create music that would combine both aggressiveness and melody. If they managed to do it or not, it is something you will find out below. This is their third album and it proves that the band is extremely creative (3 albums in two years since this album was released last year).

What I said in the first paragraph (it doesn't matter if such a band...) was not going for this band's music, it was something in general. So, THE SONIC REVOLUTION is band that no matter what drags the listener's attention until the last second. The thing about aggressiveness and melody has nothing to do with Metalcore stuff or melodic Death Metal. This band has managed to mix Power and Heavy Metal elements with some Stoner and Hard Rock stuff. How would you like to listen to something that sounds like a mix between CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and EDGUY for example? Even though their music did not manage to make me adore this band or something like that, it surely was something much different from any other release I lately reviewed. If their music was a recipe, you would definitely need a lot of QUEENSRYCHE, METALLICA (Load & Reload era) and DREAM THEATER ingredients.

I would suggest all of you who are reading this review go and buy this album. The only thing that is for sure is that it will not end up covered in dust on one of your shelves. I am sure that when you listen to it you will do exactly the same thing I did... Hey dude, check these guys out!
