Servitors Of The Outer Gods
The Black Explosion

When I first heard of the band THE BLACK EXPLOSION I immediately expected some type of Norwegian Black Metal band straight out of the 90s, but surprisingly enough these guys seem to be straight out of the 60s. Think of LED ZEPPELIN meets BLACK SABBATH, the high screaming vocals and distorted bass will have you agreeing with me in no time. This album was really enjoyable to listen to, I found myself playing tracks 4 and 7 ("Sun Eater" & "Show Me") a good several times. This is some great heavy Rock that I'm sure most people would enjoy.
I still can't believe this was released in the 21st century, this album sounds like one of those timeless classic vinyl albums you have stuck up on your wall or next to your record player. Honestly I'm more of a Metal type of guy but something about this made me want to hear more of their music. The sixth track entitled "It's Alright"gave me a real vibe of DEEP PURPLE's 1972 classic "Highway Star"off of their award winning album "Machine Head".
THE BLACK EXPLOSION is a great band and I recommend you to check this album out straight away, believe me, you will not regret it.
