Wherever the dark and putrid roots of Black Metal are, you should ask yourself this if we look at all the changes we see today, in the harshest and darkest Metal sector, on the one hand, the amount of innovations that the bands of the style have adhered to in the past years represents an open door to a more widespread commercialization, on the other hand, the heirs of black metal get lost with so much innovation, as we all have the pros and cons and Black Metal goes through exactly this stage. Analyzing in general I can say that many changes pleased me because regardless of religion or ideology, Black Metal has always been the strongest part of Metal rolling underneath the cloths.  We speak of fans who are really interested in releases and who acquire albums that sometimes are not in digital catalogs, which takes many to the shows in person.  So in sum, this has always been an asset to the extreme styles, but not everything can be lost and for sure the Polish band TEMPLE DESECRATION knows well what I'm talking about and they are one of the good roots embedded in the traditional ground of the style, a fact you can see in his first full-length "'Whirlwinds of Fathomless Chaos" released on July 13, 2018 by Iron Bonehead Productions four years after his 'Communion Perished' 2014.

We are talking about hammered lines, overlapping aggressively, and infernal grunts with a dose of uncanny chaos often difficult to understand, musical chaos.  Here is the Black Metal working in its essence, then just enter 'Nameless Hordes' and it will be here its proof, a massive sound as dense as death itself, and a dirty, denigrated production as the faithful fans are going to get their fill. With a few doses of Death and a sense of total destruction, the "Entering the Void" track represents the same content, with interesting riffs arising in the midst of so much musical friction while the vocalist practically vomits every word.

With absolute certainty many people will say that it would be great to have a more panned production for the album, which could sound clearer, but if we evaluate the factor that I mentioned above, we can conclude that a portion of the public really needs the primary concept of the style still alive.  I just think it's a shame that the band is so ingrained that it still keeps the distance from the internet with no link to identification with more information and the absence on the musicians.  On the other hand, I understand this easily after some time around here and maybe all of this generates more public interest to see these guys in their live performances.

The sensation at the edge of the abyss of death manifests itself as a dense block throughout the work, "Dominion of Darkness'", is another example of this, while "Covenant" seems to have been recorded in the sub-world of some distant cave, a rotating sound who seems to take his mind to hypnosis with more than twelve minutes of a diabolic and noisy atmosphere. I can conclude this assessment with the following thought in mind, if you are looking for the Black Metal matrix then this is a dish in front of you with a taste of death, but if for you the dirty and covered lines are like overlapping plates sounds raw, then make sure this is not for you.
