Tana Del Lupo

Out with their first EP, Tana Del Lupo are here to make a statement with their Folk Metal. It's something different to hear and I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's Metal definitely; you still have guitar solos, and riffs that anyone would expect from some sort of Metal band. The drums even tie it all together the fast pace keeps you going, and you don't get bored of it. Even without an official drummer, whoever did the drum tracks for the EP surely knew what they were doing.
When you first hear the track, you'd think it's strange because you get a Folk vibe from it but then a guitar solo comes out of nowhere with the drums and riffs, it instantly turns into a metal track. It carries on throughout all of the EP, each track merges into each other so smoothly it's like the whole EP is one whole song, In parts of the EP you hear piano and strings underneath the vocals, you question it for a little and then you realise how well it works with the song and earns it Folk Metal title. After hearing the 5 tracks, it's looking promising for TANA DEL LUPO.<
