Systemhouse33 - Depths Of Despair album cover

Not many bands in India have made it international, not many bands can invest their whole time in Metal because of the circumstances which they are bounded to. The contract to the narrow minded society and the music which they provide is like a conflict of freedom and slavery. With Bollywood music and other Indian music existing in India, none seems to notice Metal as the gateway of freedom or the field of creativity and some of them did. So did SYSTEMHOUSE33.

Forming in small city Nagpur (Maharashtra), playing their first time gig in battle of bands in an event. Shifting to Metro city- Mumbai, These guys launched 4 albums consecutively. Touring as individuals, they tried to explore metal in a different way that they set their foot on Thrash Meal scene in India. With the shortly held Thrashfest in Thane, Systemhouse33 has created more fan base playing along with DEVOID, ALBATROSS, DEADBOLT, ARMAMENT, CHAOS and SCEPTRE. Not many know these days since Indian Metal Scene is like underground scene.

Coming to the point as an album reviewer, their new album "Depths of Despair" portrayed PANTERA riffs, Samron Jude has the vocal style of Phil Anselmo, beautiful bass from Leon Quadros and PANTERA's doppelganger riff played by Daniel D'souza. The start of the album is instrumental and it had given a haunting feeling. To be more precise, I felt like it was more of a salad and main course music. The intro "Abstraction" and the last track "Armistice" was more like salad instrumental. Main course music was more like the "Depths of Despair", "Deathwish" and "Stark Relevations". It was a blast of complete dynamic throttle thrown in the environment and caught to headbang rather than throwing on the face. This album has more potential. And I assume they do because most of the bands provide more energy in the live rather than studio work.

They sound Groove and Experimental Thrash as well. As a band, they are tight and immense in their sound. Compared to other bands globally, this band has done a quite good job with their new album.
