Well, ladies and gendlemen, here we are again with one of the many reviews that we write and you (for your own good if I know you) read for a melodic Death Metal band. But is Syroscope an album that is worth our time?

SYCRONOMICA is a new, for me, band. They made their first steps in 1996, when they released their first demo. Their debut album Paths came eight years later. Their second album was in stores in 2006 and now it is time for their third attempt.

I always say that the first album is crucial for a band, but it's too early to say anything. But their third and fourth albums are the most important ones, since the band has found their sound and identity, if any. Unfortunately SYCRONOMICA don't have one. Their melodic Black Metal is to listen to a fan park. They take the worst ideas from DIMMU BORGIR and CRADLE OF FILTH, mix them with some Thrash/Speed and goth (alas!) Metal, put some opera-like vocals and some songs in German...et voila! They may want to sound evil in Syroscope, satanic, to call all the demons on Earth and unleash Hell, but I think Gargamel is more evil.

Unfortunately for SYCRONOMICA (in my opinion) this album lacks inspiration and it's boring, without atmosphere with only some good riffs here and there, but that's not enough. Hopefully their next album will be better. But they have to work really hard to make this happen.
