Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: SWINE OVERLORD; signed via Gore House Productions, hailing from the United States of America - performing Brutal Death Metal, on their sophomore album entitled "Entheogenesis". (released September 23^rd, 2016)

Since formation in 2012; the quintet in question have 1 album behind them. I'm introduced to their 2^nd release, "Entheogenesis". As a rabid fan of Death Metal in general; I am taking quite a liking to the Brutal Death Metal sub-genre; SWINE OVERLORD are your typical, yet intensely, hardcore quartet who balance the almighty genre into an even more frightening essence of intricate brutality. 14 absolutely crushing tracks ranging at around 44:48; it's safe to say that this is a band that is not for the faint of heart. As I begin the introductory opener "I: The Creator", "Severed From The Godhead", & "Graceless" I sense an unprecedented formula in this acquisition - brilliantly executed pig-squeals from Anthony Viscusi that formulate cords that insinuate screams of blood of utmost morbid proportions, and well-performed growls that shock this listener with how well the guy and grunt and squeal for as long as one mortally should be able to.

Let's not forget the distinctive instrumental solo worker, Will Peplinski. Performing guitars, bass and drums...the dude showcases complex pummeling of dexterity in mind. In songs like "Procreating The Offspring Of Gods And Men", "II: The Preserver", & "(I)conoclasm" develop an efficient aesthetic of musicianship in a truly experimental way. This uncanny substance crushes eardrums yet motivates the embodiment with fulfilling songwriting and a destructive sound production that will intentionally rage you with an enlightening fist pounding & furious head bang. "Invoking An Obsidian Liturgy (Featuring Tim Bee)", "Riverchrist" & "A Delusion's Paradise" implement the aforementioned with more technicality and progressive delicacies; experimenting at a unique perspective at being the strongest they can possibly be. SWINE OVERLORD is very original and transcends the Death Metal sub-genre to its maximum potential.

"III: The Destroyer", "Altars Of A Putrid Resurrection (Featuring Jord James)", & "Voidweaver" extend the experience with more convoluted experimentations & highly enjoyable riffs and melodies that hints at a taste of Black Metal atmosphere (a little) monstrous vocalization that are unbelievably understandable without lyrics here and there. Especially when the concluding tracks "Whispers Of The Ineffable" & "Gazing Into The Shadow's Maw" kick in; galloping ferociously into Slam territory, which is another sub-genre I can usually rely on to get my brutal fix. Overall - going in with high expectations; those were met with higher merits of unparalleled distinction.
