SWARÞ (pronounced "swarth") is a band. That's really all that can be said about them as a group, nothing about the band exists online. I did find a trail of hashtags that lead to various Facebook and Tumblr profiles, they might be UK based but that's about as far as I got. SWARÞ is a strange band, apart from being reclusive, their music heavy doom riffs play under the disjointed growls of the lyrics, at times there is a distant and ghostly wail which, all together gives the album a discordant, unsettling sound.

SWARÞ's newest release, "Veneficivm" is only about 12 minutes long containing only two tracks (that transition very well) so it's worth a listen, even if doom isn't really your style. I would love to see this band live or at least some music videos. Come on, SWARÞ, you're good, don't be so shy, why don't you want to share your pretty faces with the rest of us? Is the band nothing more than an angry hellhound and a wayward ghost? Because that would kick ass. SWARÞ is worth checking out, their newest release is dark, mysterious and will haunt you long after the final note is struck.
