Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SWAMPBEAST; signed via Translation Loss Records, hailing from the United States Of America - performing Death Metal/Grindcore, on their debut album entitled: "Seven Evils Spawn Of Seven Heads" (released February 12th, 2021).

Since formation in 2017; the trio in question have a Demo entitled: "Path To The Oasis" (released December 28th, 2017), a Split entitled: "Holocaust Of Terrastrial Empires" (released April 25th, 2019) & this here debut album entitled: "Seven Evils Spawn Of Secen Heads". 11 tracks ranging at around 36:21; SWAMPBEAST arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Death Metal/Grindcore amalgamations.

Opening up with a blistering barraged frenzy with the "Orc's Anvil"; wildly rushing rhythms slam with bulldozing chaos, gnarly distortion revels with visceral weightiness where tight hooks fret a trailblazing rampage. Nothing but chiselling gallops, and chugging frolics rift with stampeding mayhem. Consisting of Griffin Werk on guitars/vocals, the frontman excels at a deadly array of throaty roars & shouty yells that bark, bellow and scour with extreme aggression. His distilling riffs rapidly swift with organic nimbleness, rampantly rompy reverberations rumbles with sturdy thuds & ruthless pandemonium that skyrocket with tempestuously haralding firepower, culminating a borderline foundation in exhilarating grooves of uniquely versatile vehemence - especially in "The Blind God" where the scorching tempos grind a hybrid experimentation in dynamically dextrous execution.

Marecov Mena on the rambunctiously pile driving drums/vocals viciously pummels the set with steely precision, sulfurous synergies surge with clobbering crunchiness as chunky chops smack speakers with amplified adrenaline and fiercely furocious impact. "Convulsing in the Shit and Piss of Man" is a romantic trembler, killer laceration injects an infectiously primitive slice of rawly venomous thumpiness as an intense aesthetic in blasphemously blackened darkness forges immersively immense batterings that will make you want to break chairs over other chairs in no time. Relentlessly rampaging with razing demolition, as eardrums grumble with the groveling echo as deep gutturals growl along with slaying maelstrom manifestations - where monstrously meaty savagery snares within the "1000 Years of Pestilence", which unleashes boisterously bouncy calamities in creating contrasting grooves with punchy jumpiness & monolithic tempos of persistent perseverance that will rattle your skull profusely with robust vigour.

"Trudging Through Oblivion" salubriously smothers you with vibrantly quirky quakes of momentous maelstrom potency, snappy bruisers belt a flamboyantly driving outburst of striving malignance & malevolent virulence while "The Permanence Of Death" shreds with more striking pursuits on sinister yet jarring ominence. Until this viciously speedy velocity hastfully implodes into combustible oblivion, before bringing back that menacing but doomy hymn while merged with the ragy ramifications that intertwine broody but fast conundrums in foreboding grit and concrete dominion. Let's not forget Mark Royal on guitars/keyboards, the riffing madman thrashes with malignant volleys while sonically seamless empowerments embody an enriching bombardment on radically wicked tendencies that rift with deathly distinction as distinguished harmonics intrude with splendid fundamentals in flexible craftsmanship mobility.

"Thy Flesh Sustained" towers with burning havoc, as fluid distortion and outrè panache significantly blasts consistently brutal beats... bludgeoning eardrums with wrathful bitterness & cavernous madness where grizzly instrumentation conjures up swampy virtuosity where quintessential rips snare with solid retribution. "The First Prime Evil" is an evil empowering embodiment of some groundbreaking droniness, haralding with scattering grime and rotting severity - synergetic smotherings spit with rigorous smears of piercing soars that rip with scathing remedy. Nothing but belligerent noise terror shrouds your soul with this overdose on pumping contortion in which motivates me with shrieking revocation until the "Cerberus'' moves into bestial territory with restless treads until "Chasms Encrusted with Malformity'' marches through the lair of the swampbeast, awakening him as he arises from the thick layer of filth he is forever laid to rest for all eternity, until that foolish intruder dares to walk in and interrupt his slumber - before becoming his next meal where summoned.

Overall concluding this titanic behemoth of a record with the sludgy "Spell Of Decay"; where doomy ambience makes use of the keyboard element for atmospheric semblance & systematic symbolism, I am compelled to say that SWAMPBEAST most certainly outdone themselves with "Seven Evils Spawned Of Seven Heads", the band delivered a healthy offering of some barbaric slayings that rattled my skull with prodigiously prestigious perseverance & showcased talented filth in which marvellously subjugates you to unleash the brutal face of evil in a devilish fashion with horns held high while rocking with the berserking bludgeons of the bestial beast at hand.

Bottom line; definitely an utmost memorable record where the songwriting makes you ponder with tribulated subjugation, while possessed with satanic but feverish ghoul – this one made me replay this one a good handful of times and I think all metallers will experience an enjoyably bleeding discovery. A heavily distinguished spin of mountainous inhumanity in which most surely deserves checking out, slithering with  & vicious boundaries inventively immerses you with snarly scrapes that makes this one not to be ignored, do check it out - one of my favourite Death Metal/Grindcore discoveries of this year by far! A possible 2021 album of the year contender for sure!
