Human Society
Strange Corner

No, this time there is not an intro that describes the type of music Casket releases mostly, since STRANGE CORNER is not your typical Casket band. There is no Grunge or Hard Rock in here. The Italian act prefers to stay on the more modern side of today's music and offers a nice Hardcore album.
The Vicenza based Hardcore act has made some more than good steps. The effort they have put on Human Society, their third album, shows that these guys are professionals and work a lot on every single step they make. The album's release through Casket Music and the mixing work by Jacob Bredhal (HATESPHERE, BARCODE) are surely things that attract your attention.
So, the Italian mafia known as STRANGE CORNER present a hybrid of NY Hardcore similar to bands like TERROR and HATEBREED with some extra modern touches that add some melody and technique to the overall result. I guess that we could describe STRANGE CORNER as a melodic version of TERROR. Don't be afraid, of course there are the classic beatdown moments and the I-am-screaming-my-ass-off vocals that make the band stay closer to the Hardcore tradition. Having managed to avoid the classic melodic Hardcore scene, these guys are not even close to bands like IGNITE, something that is a big plus for them, but as it seems they have to walk some miles to reach the final form of their interesting quest.
They've got the sound, they've got the attitude and they definitely have the talent to make it. There are many core bands out there that are no match to these Italians and the only thing STRANGE CORNER have to do is work a bit harder and make this whole thing tight as fuck.
