Stop Hitting Yourself - Demo #1 album cover

STOP HITTING YOURSELF is a 3-piece tri-vocal Hardcore band from Nottingham in United Kingdom. The band was formed in 2013 and in September 2014 they released their first work called "Demo #1" which lasts only 10 minutes and consists of 4 tracks.

"Settle For Nothing" is a total energetic mess with drums and guitars and screaming. 3 angry boys making noise in interesting ways! It is a Punk mix of Hardcore and Metalcore screaming and even Thrashing elements. Next track "Revenge!" gives no mercy to listeners with Thrashy drums and shouting; a great time for headbanging for Metallers with melodic riffs and Punk rhythms

"Dieselboarded" lasts only 14 seconds, strangely enough, and is an incomprehensible mess; "Bazooka" is a very aggressive track with changeable rhythm and madness inside, shouting by 3 guys  making noise and mixing all genres - Thrash, Punk and faster with heavier riffs.

STOP HITTING YOURSELF's demo has power, energy and madness! Their music is mix of Hardcore, Metalcore, Trash metal, Punk with elements of modern sounds. Every song on their demo is a total surprise and causes your heart to beat faster!  You never know what you can expect for a while. Here positively is no schematic, they excel in great connections between different styles. Surely all fans of Hardcore and Metalcore who like such a clash of genres wouldn't be disappointed of this CD. After few listenings I started to see potential. So come on guys, follow your heart and make your music with true passion! I am looking forward to your next album.
