STATE OF SALAZAR is AOR, Melodic Rock band from Malmö in Sweden, formed in 2010 and have released their debut EP "Lost my Way" and debut album "All The Way" in 2014.

Every song on this CD is created on great level. Opening "I Believe In You" has nice riffs & pulsating AOR climate with catchy refrain, clear singing, amazing guitar solo and piano - that all remind me climate of FOREIGNER. Titled track "All The Way" is nice with great guitars and keys and choir chorus, "Eat Your Heart Out" is full of TOTO influences, nice chill sounds and groovy bass with clear vocal. VAN HALEN guitars could be recalled in "Adrian" with a comeback to spirit of '80, "Marie" is full of influences of FOREIGNER sounds with piano together with calmer guitars. I like "Time To Say Goodbye" where power keys are with energetic guitars, stadium choir in chorus and piano ballad "Love Of My Life" with higher climate and pathetic refrain in QUEEN style. Melodic "Always" has AOR catchy atmospheres in refrain and fantastic arena choir and "Field Of Dreams" with gentle piano in the background and melodic, catchy sounds in JOURNEY and TOTO style. Also interesting is "Catastrophe" with riffs from '80 years, piano, wonderful connecting of well-worked guitars, brilliant keys, violins and an upbeat mood.

Their songs come across as potential hits with groovy sounds and lightness. The whole album is played on high level and big class, with clear, enjoyable and listenable production. I am sure every fan of melodic hard rock, every who love mix of spirit '80 years and modern and who loves sounds such bands like: FOREIGNER, JOURNEY, TOTO, QUEEN and SURVIVIOR and  I can recommend this album because of their combination of hard rock sounds, full of melody.
