Spiders - Killer Machine album cover

This female fronted garage Punk Rock band is a hard-hitting sound machine on their latest "Killer Machine". SPIDERS is a band hailing from Sweden who knows how to rock out. The first song titled "Shock and Awe" begins upbeat and continues with a beat and lyrics to match. It has a catchy chorus and riffs. The vocals are good. The playing of instruments show years of practice of their craft. A good song that has a bit of Punk Rock influence into it.

"Killer Machine" is not only the title of the album but it is track four. It is loud and has a heart pounding beat. The vocals are strong. The drums are good. The song has a unique Bluesy feel to it throughout. The guitar is strong. This is a good song and great name for the album as well. "Swan Song" is not Swan Lake, it is better. A riveting guitar and drum in the beginning with another onslaught of strong vocals and good lyrics. It is a fast-paced song that would be really good on road trip. It could make someone speed, though, so watch out. It has a nice hard guitar solo that stands out. It is all good.

"Don't Need You" a slower paced song. The lyrics are beautiful and emotional. This is the song that will make one cry. A song that pulls at one's heart strings and will make one think about everything that has happened in the past and will maybe make one think better about the future. Another great guitar solo here that is noticeable. This is a good song that says a lot through its lyrics. "Heartbreaker" is the last song and a nice way to end the album. One can tell the Blues and Punk influence throughout this album. Everyone knows someone that this song could be about. The strong drum is noticeable. This song is catchy and the lyrics can speak volumes if one listens closely enough. A nice song to listen to more than once.

The album is good. There are many influence of sound throughout this album which is noticeable. This is a nice way to relax after a long day with a favorite beverage. This is an album that will speak to everyone in one way or another.
