Parking Lot Rockstar

SOULICIT sounds like the last up-dated version of PAPA ROACH melted with 2nd generation of SHINEDOWN's clone., very similar to CINDER ROAD or CAVO. They are from Witchita. They play an OK but very regular and formulaïc Stadium-US-Post Grunge Rock. As with most of their contemporary, their constant use and abuse of the auto pitch on the vocals tracks, makes them sounds quite a bit artificial and plastic. The album was first released in late 2011, but now the band inked a new deal both in Europe and in the United States. Also they played some big undergrounds fest this summer. Some tracks are memorable as "Hell Yeah" and "Blow Me Away" and also "Complicated", "Getting' High", that showed their more mainstream style or slightly heavier "Beauty Queen" and "Parking Lot Rockstar" .
But on this side of the Atlantic, I don't think they are going to make heads turn and the jaws drop, but if you didn't already give up on finding the new southern answer to NICKELBACK or the new ALTER BRIDGE: Be my guest! For my part, I will keep up with CERVELLO or HINDER.
