IV
Small Jackets

It's the fourth album of this Italian Heavy Rock N' Roll named SMALL JACKETS, even can be categorized as a Hard rock band. Weird that it is their fourth album and I have never heard about them. Maybe I'm getting old or their marketing and PR guys didn't quite do a good job. I think the answer is definitively that I'm getting old, that's a fact.
SMALL JACKETS have been mixing Rock N' Roll with tasty Metal, back when I read about them I noticed that they are close friends of THE HELLACOPTERS, as well an acclaimed Swedish Rocking crew, and they even recorded some tunes with them. Therefore, you probably can understand that this relationship just raised the bar.
I know that my loyal and big Fan club are waiting for a song by song evaluation but it is not needed here, trust me. "IV" is maybe one of the best Hard Rock albums I have heard in my life, at least for like the last passing five years. This is Hard rock in its paramount moment. All the songs are catchy, guitars are great, vocals cool and top notch production, and therefore it would be better if I will let the explanation remain undercover. I urge you guys to head out and buy the album, I know I'm going to buy it, hopefully I will be able to get the Vinyl version, if there will be one. I need the classic sound because it's such a classic album.
