Slaverty - Beyond Imagination album cover

SLAVERTY is a Symphony/Melodic Metal band from Chile and they do know how to write that kind of material as you will hear in their newest album "Beyond Imagination" that we are about to talk now.

The opening track from the album is "Dreamcatcher" and it starts with a cool drumming that is soon joined by some keyboard sounds that creates a tense ambiance and then the guitars comes in, giving it the right energy. The vocals are soft and powerful, I really like how the singer sounds here. The song is full of nice melodies.

"Fairyland" starts out with a beautiful soft keyboard sound that created a very calm ambiance, thein the pianos comes in and some vocal choirs comes along. That is a cool song and very creative I must say. "The Biggest Mistake" starts with a nice guitar melody and then there's a calmer and softer instrumental that created a nice ambiance for the sweet vocals. That is a great song.

"Dementia" have a tense and darker ambiance if compared to the previous songs and it feels heavier as well. I really like the construction of that song, it shows a different side of the musicians, and it matched the album pretty well. "Be Free" is an incredible beautiful ballad that starts with goes all the way with a piano, orchestrations and the sweet and soft vocals. That is beautiful.

"Appreciate" starts with some Heavy Metal guitar riffs and it it faster if compared to the previous songs. I can totally imagine that song being played live and it is going to rule. The guitar solo is beautiful and nice structured as well. "So Close To Me" starts with a beautiful piano progression and it has Ives Gullé doing some vocals here, which was pretty nice, because it fit just right with the female vocals. That song is inspiring.

"The Beauty Of Life" starts with an incredible keyboard melody that will stick to your mind. That might be one of the best songs on that album and maybe a future classical of the band. I have nothing else more to add. "Unconscious Reality" starts with a cool kind of groovy guitar riff and some orchestrations going on. The vocals kept its greatness and the instrumental from the stanza and chorus are creative as well. The chorus is catch and you will be singing to it as soon as you hear it.

"Enchanted Forest" is the song that closes the album and once again we have Ives Gullé vocals, and it perfectly fits the ambiance of the song. This song changes its dynamics a few times and I truly liked it. A great way to end the material.

SLAVERTY have written and released a great Symphonic/Melodic Metal album, and I am truly impressed by how Chilean Metal is good. They deserve the best and I hope to catch their gig here in Brazil sometime. Give them the prize.
