Skylark - Wings album cover

Recently we had the Eurovision contest here in Europe (which was held in Turkey). A rather untalented contest filled with untalented artists (well mostly - not all of them) from all over Europe; another verification that music has turned into a TV-selling product.
I'm not saying that music never was about fortune and fame in the past. It was about fortune, fame and a pure love for music! Maybe those artists love music after all but hey...show it to me, don't just try selling it to me as if I'm a 14 year old girlie with a Britney Spears T-shirt and absolutely no idea about what music's all about. I'm no mastermind but I do have a certain respect for what's music and not just another vibrator in the consumer's ass (you'll have to excuse my vulgar language but this issue frustrates me!)!
What does all of this have to do with SkyLark you may wonder. Damn, I can't help feeling that I'm listening to another Eurovision song! This band's got an awful production; even I could achieve a better production with my computer's microphone (and you don't wanna hear me singing - well probably you'd prefer that rather than these guys). Their accent is worse than my speaking Japanese accent (the guy talking on Belzebu 2 just made me water my pants with joy...), it's like having a couple of over 50's - with huge bellies - tourists from the Sahara desert trying to sing opera.
Trying to sing did I say? These guys (and a female singer as well) actually try to play Def Leppard's When Love And Hate Collide. Oh God, why'd I have to mention that! Def Leppard's one of my all time favorite bands and I consider this to be one of the worst covers for one of their songs ever! And no, I'm not prejudiced about a woman (Kiara) singing Joe Elliot's lyrics but why did it have to be now, in this CD, by SkyLark? And to imagine that this is probably the best song on Wings.
Yeah I forgot what SkyLark's supposed to be playing. Prog-Power Metal I guess...or at least they thought they were...
