SIXSTRINGNOISE are a Heavy/Alternative Metal duo from Athens, Greece. SIXSTRINGNOISE is about to release their most recent LP titled "Snake Side Brotherhood" in the first half of 2015. That is what we have here. So let's see what SIXSTRINGNOISE have been up to on their latest release.

On a listen, SIXSTRINGNOISE are an ambitious combination of truthful, serious topics combined with a great bouncing, Rock/Metal sound. Tracks on the album touch on a variety of serious topics such as "Around My Head" begins the album by painting an entire vision in the listeners head of the thoughts rolling around through someone's head, and how they cannot cope with all of the things going on in their lives at that particular point. It also carries a positive message that life does get better, and that we have to keep on living to see those better times ahead.

"Bridges Burnt Down" is the concept that we have to sever ourselves from the past to move on into the future. People cannot continue to be caught in the past, when there is a future to be lived. Letting the past go is key to enjoying what the future has to offer. There is always hope in the future if the past can be let go of. If people can move on, there is something in the future of life for everyone. Without letting the past go its hard to enjoy those gifts life will offer in the future. "Didn't See that Coming" reminds us that sometimes people will hurt us in life. We can never determine when that will happen, or who will do it, but we can determine how we handle the situation. We can let it get us down, or we can turn to those we love and use them to pull ourselves back up and move on with our lives. "Every Thorn" reminds us that we all have things that have hurt us in life, but that we have to put that behind us to move on into the future. Learn from the past, the things that hut us, and the things we didn't like. Use those to shape the person you are in the future. "Hiatus" suggests that sometimes it feels like God or the Creator in this world has taken a vacation. Things get chaotic, and no one seems to be able to control what goes on. there is a fight throughout all of our lives to counter the insanity of this world, and to try to overcome the world with things that are good rather than bad.

SIXSTRINGNOISE combine that Alternative Metal style with songs about brutally honest topics that helps speak to the listener. It reminds the listeners of a lot of valuable things that happen in our lives, but also shares a message of hope that anything can be overcome. There are always brighter days. Things will get better in the future if we put the past behind us, and let the future dictate how we live our lives. The positivity uplifts the listener to believe in tomorrow, and remember that life is beautiful no matter what someone is going through at that specific time in their life. "Snake Side Brotherhood" reminds us that we are all something of "brothers" in this world, in this life together and trying our best to live and figure life out day-by-day.

SIXSTRINGNOISE also has a very "full" sound for being only a duo. The duo manages to make themselves sound huge. They sound like an entire band of five or six dudes rocking out, and there are really only two of them! It's a phenomenal feat that is to be respected! That's not easy to pull off for sure!

The unique combination of a duo and the sound that SIXSTRINGNOISE bring to the forefront create a great, groovy Alternative Metal listen that handles the frank topics of life, and how humanity has to live. It's going to be interesting to see how SIXSTRINGNOISE follow-up "Snake Side Brotherhood" with their next release. Definitely worth a listen!
