SISTER SIN is female fronted Heavy Metal band from Gothenburg in Sweden. Band was formed in 2002 and released such albums: "Switchblade Serenades" (2008), "True Sound Of The Underground" (2010), "Rock 'N Roll (Motorhead Cover - Featuring Doro)" (2011), "Now And Forever" (2012), "Dance Of The Wicked" (2013) and "Black Lotus" on 27^th October 2014.

My favorite track is "Au Revoir" with heavier riffs, working bass & drums, and power vocal! Liv Jagrell has unbelievable energy in singing; her voice is so strong and clear. I love the memorable choruses with drums and choir in the background (MANOWAR echoes), which make pathetic style. I love this track where you can hear DORO and SCORPIONS influences and the lyrics are fantastic; "Welcome in to my world of darkness...". Single "Chaos Royale" has amazing catchy riffs, strong vocal and rhythmic section in IRON MAIDEN style. Refrain is so melodic with changeable tempo - slower/faster that is perfectly playing. Here is big plus excellent solos and memorable kick-ass chorus!

Opening "Food For Worms" has nice guitars in rockin' style as an opener and then Heavy Metal rhythmic section with working bass give true power! Catchy chorus is great singing by female vocalist who adds true energy to this track. Symphonic echoes, together with stronger, lower guitars are in "Count Me Out" and the melodic track "Desert Queen" where keys and melody sound similar to me to a LORDI song and vocal is just brilliant! Wonderful track - ballad is "The Jinx" where is gentle / calmer singing by the vocalist with accompaniment acoustic guitar and then is sublime atmosphere with symphonic elements, violins and all these create higher climate where melody is in the foreground.

Also worth listening to are: heavier and melodic track "Ruled By None" playing in Heavy Metal spirit, stronger guitars, clear drums, great singing duo by female and male and wonderful singing choir with punky echoes in "Sail North" and powerful "Stones Thrown" with great strength.

This CD is full of killer tracks. Each of the tracks is a potential hit! SISTER SIN played a great album on high level with full of melody and energy. You can feel the love of musicians to what they play and singing, & of course, their experience. Finally, in my opinion, this album is excellent and surely fans of such bands like JUDAS PRIEST, ACCEPT, MOTORHEAD will love this band!<
