"So It Began" is the debut EP from SILVERNITE and I can honestly say that they had a great start. The opening track from the album is "Colt Has Fallen. Run... Run..." and it will please the Star Trek and Star Wars fans as it reminds something from both classical series. There's some electronic sound and a cool melody played by the guitars. The end there's a guy asking for some Mary to...

"Sweet Mary" starts out with a brilliant guitar melody and soon there's a soft vocals with a lot of personality. I loved it. This song reminded me of the 80's and the synths arrangements are fun. The chorus is really good and the vocal lines from the stanzas will stick to your head. The guitar work is astonishing and I loved the tone.

"Cry For Love" starts out in the most 80's electronic music vibe as possible. Tanja's vocals are a little bit less softer here, with a little bit of drive and I loved. This song is different from the previous one and I liked the dynamic and ambiance. Everything here is 1980's like and its pretty incredible. The chorus is pretty good and the guitar work as well.

"Lost In Your Eyes" starts out with a nice ambient sound created by the synthesizer. It could easily be a soundtrack for an 1980's movie. The guitar solo here is creative and I liked. I must say that this song has a lot of different dynamics and even what should be a sax on it. It's a cool instrumental song.

"We Will Be Back" starts out with a a nice electronic sound and the soft vocals. I think that they should be a little bit louder here.  "Spirits" starts out with the synthesizers again and it could easily be something mixed up with a electronic song. I missed the vocals here, but it's a good song.

"Cry For Love Instrumental" is a nice song to end the album and I believe that will bring you to the 1980's, no doubt.

Well, I must say that I was really surprised on how this album turned out to be more of a 1980's soundtrack and pop then a Rock or Metal release. Its pretty different from what I was expecting, but it's a good album. There are good ideas and the fans from that era will love it.
