Having only been formed in 2009, SILENT KNIGHT is a fairly young band compared to others. They are inspired heavily by the 1980s Metal scene. Some of their influences include HELLOWEEN, MEGADETH and IRON MAIDEN. They have overcome many obstacles to make their breakthrough into the metal scene. One of those being they are from a very isolated city.

Zoran Cunjak has one of the most amazing, powerful voices I have heard. Though I love the voice of Marco from NIGHTWISH / TAROT, I have to say, Cunjak has a much more powerfully moving voice!  If you listen to "Masterplan" the title track, at the very end, he holds a note that made me look at my computer impressed (I know, I know, he couldn't see me or my face, but still!). Seriously, he is one of my favorite male vocalists of all time.

I have read what people think about "Masterplan", SILENT KNIGHT's 2013 album. And I have seen many great opinions. I have also seen some not so great. I am on the side of they are one of the best bands of 2013. I cannot wait to see what they follow up with! As far as Power Metal goes, you don't get much better!
