The best part of the Grindcore genre is that it hits you hard and deep, just enough for you to not feel overwhelmed by the music. The songs and the albums are shorter and works just fine if you just want to squeeze in an album in between a busy day. We have got Italian Grindcore band SHIT FUCKING SHIT's 4rd full length album "Pluriorgasmic Alcoholic Nun" clocking just over 23 minutes. With a band name like that, you can't blame me for having some high expectations for a Grindcore band.

The album starts with an "Intro" which is a retro children's musical clocking just 46 seconds. "Brutality Of Rock'n'Roll" is a typical Grindcore song with fast paced drum beats and chaotic guitar work, and dark thick growling vocals. It offers what you would expect from a Grindcore album. Some of the song names are funny in this record, like the "Squirting Banzai" which starts with an audio from a Horror movie where a man is yelling out of pain during the song's intro, before the song goes into its Grindcore mode with short lyrical sentences, and long pig squeals, but what's most interesting about this song are the juicy riffs, which get faster as the song goes on, only to end chaotic towards the end. It's one of those songs which is perfect for moshing in short period of time. "Rosette" has a different rhythm to it, which is reminiscent of SUFFOCATION. It has the rhythmic drum blast beats that works just great for the song. "Evil Dwarf" is the anthem of the album, as it starts with this epic battle-esque drum beat, before going berserk. "Worms (Witnesses Of Death)" starts as a conversation between two police offers about a crime scene, before the song goes full mental with its heavy ear piercing Grindcore insanity. The song has a dark horror vibe to it all the way, and its ending feels abrupt too.

"Jagermeister Bondage" is another one of those chaotic train wreck songs that just annihilates the listener's ears. It's heavy, fast and packs a lot of meat in its two minutes. "Lady Sonia" has some sharp riffs that make it distinct among other songs on offer here. The pig squeals are impressive as well. The song ends with a Christmas hymn styled music. The album ends with the longest song on offer here - "Grotesque Devourment" which sounds just enough to get anybody just get up and start moshing. "Pluriorgasmic Alcoholic Nun" is no genre defining album, but what's on offer here is a seasoned Grindcore album that gets you what you expect of it. Its 23 minutes of just pure blissful Grindcore that is worth the listener's time. But don't expect anything spectacular.
