Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SHADOWKEEP; signed via "Pure Steel Records", hailing from England - performing Progressive Power Metal, on their fourth self-titled album: "Shadowkeep" (released March 30th, 2018).

Since formation in 1999; the quintet in question have three albums behind them, I am introduced to their 4th self-titled album: "Shadowkeep". 11 tracks ranging at around 55:01; SHADOWKEEP arrange an intricately designed development of heavy-hitting Progressive Power Metal distinctions. "Atlantis" starts things off, whichs delivers a grandiose manifestation of concretely powerful instrumentation and musicianship. The quartet deliver a profusely robust process of deadly yet killer executions, providing a dynamically distinguished formula that is proficiently organic and energetically relentless. "Guardians Of The Sea" contrasts this aesthetic with a fluid substance that is dominately adroit all round so far.

Consisting of James Rivera on vocals, who showcases complex diversity which varies with high-pitched Power Metal screams - simply put, reminds me of Sean Peck from DEATH DEALER/DENNER/SHERMANN. "Flight Across The Land" demonstrates the rhythmic dexterity from guitar duo Chris Allen & Nikki Robsen, who supply a vast amount of chugging riffs and chunky solos that are progressively technical while bouncy, catchy and groovy at the same time. "Horse Of War" distributes a battering barrage of frenzied gallops and pummelling efficaciousness from powerhouse drummer Omar Hayes, who pulverizes his steel with an excelling amount of powerful punchline selubriousness - melodiously magnificant while poundingly thumpy.

"Little Lion" conveyed with battle hardened hymns, efficiently establishing an anthemic yet rhythmic style while amalgamated with rapidly swift nimbleness and excelling bass adroitness from Stony Grantham - an enlightening and unique track. "Angels And Omens" has progressively technical ramifications, flamboyantly embellishing on a solid slab of creative songwriting and constructive craftsmanship fulfilments that are excitingly enjoyable. "Isolation" continues the onslaught of blistering yet hammering assaults of detailed orchestrations, flourishing with a relishing magnitude of meticulous results. "Never Forgotten" contributes a sufficient amount of persistently driven musicalities with a punchline foundation of tangible finesse.

"The Sword Of Damocles" is a razor-sharp smack of vehement elegance and an exquisite slab of solid profuseness. "Immortal Drifter" has a similar characteristic, until the rampaging "Minotaur" overall concludes the record. Bottom line, SHADOWKEEP certainly outdone themselves with this "Shadowkeep" a discovery I had a great experience with - have a listen.
