Good day Temple. I'm back today to talk about a fairly new band who released their first album. This band is SEXY, and I'm not just saying their name. This is their first album entitled "Shout for SEXY!" and it really makes you want to "shout" with them. As a debut album goes, this is a very good start for this small band from Zofingen, Switzerland.

Founded in 2011, they took their time to find their style and come up with some amazing material for this first album. The sound is very well researched; they wanted to make it feel like Classic Rock and Roll from the late 80's, early 90's era, with influence from KISS, BLACK SABBATH, and VAN HALEN clearly represented in this album.

The vocals; done by Pascal Tallarico, is really something. Like I always say, the voice of the band is the very first impression a band will make on its potential fans. Well, he's doing an amazing job right here; I got hooked on his tone right away. The comparison that came to my mind is David Lee Roth (VAN HALEN). He has a similar charm in his tone.

If I have to give one bad comment about this band, I'd have to go with this; even though it is a sexy name they choose for themselves, it makes thing very hard to do any kind of research on the band or even just to try to find the album on the web for purchase. "Shout for Sexy!" is a great play on words and it totally fits the music, but try googling this and see what you find. This band won't be on top of the list. It could make things hard for them in the marketing side, for people to tell their friend: "Hey, you should check these guys out".

I really had a blast listening to the album though, I would recommend you give it a try for certain, especially if you love retro Hard Rock, you'll find your pick in here. Also, don't pass up the song "Fortunate Son"; SEXY did a massive job on this cover of CREEDENCE CLEARWATER.<
