The Shadow Of Suffering
Severe Outburst

While inserting the CD to my CD player I was checking out the band's promotional photos. Since I didn't had a clue about the band's music, I was "satisfied" to see its members wearing ARCH ENEMY, BLOOD FOR BLOOD, PROTEST THE HERO and RISE AGAINST t shirts. Let's see if SEVERE OUTBURST's music will be satisfying as well...
This quintet comes from Netherlands and has been active since 2005. After a demo in 2006, four years had to pass for the band to record and release its debut full-length album "The Shadow Of Suffering" through Casket Music. SEVERE OUTBURST play a kind of modern Thrash Metal with some slight Core influences. The band tries to incorporate Thrash Metal riffs, groovy breakdowns, as well as aggressive outbreaks all in one. I am sorry to say that but this act doesn't seem to do it successfully. Apart from the shitty sound this album features, the riffs have nothing impressive, the solo parts should be left out of the album and there is absolutely no feeling in here.
After "The Shadow Of Suffering" was over I was left with absolutely nothing to remember. I don't know if anyone of you will find something interesting in here, but you can always check out their Myspace page.
