Sense Of Fall - Fallen Statues album cover

Northern Europe has the tradition to listen to Heavy Metal as your popular music style. Countries like Sweden, Norway and Finland are machines to release to the world fantastic bands from several styles you can imagine. From Traditional Heavy Metal, passing to Symphonic, and ending in New Metal and Black Metal, you won't be surprised when you discover those new bands you listen for, once are from there. Specifically in Finland, you can find bands famous like NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS, HIM or SENTENCED and many others. And I'm here with the band, SENSE OF FALL, releasing the first EP called "Fallen Statues" in this year.

When you take a look at the artwork, you can confer they make a sound with a dark atmosphere. And you're right!

They're a female fronted band, but nothing like NIGHTWISH and bands like them. Ok, they're a duet between the female voice from Anni and a harsh - a professional harsh vocal, better than famous bands in this style: you can understand everything they're singing, and it's for me, it's very important vocal. The line-up is excellent and very talented. They make a balanced work showing a refined and strong Heavy Metal and showing to us that women aren't forced to always listen in lyric mode to make a great work.

The songs in all are with the dark atmosphere with strength from Extreme Metal. I'm impressed with all the songs and I've listened twice and I can tell you, listener, you will like it, as I'm doing in this moment.

The entire album follows the same formula, but for me is sufficient to make a great work. The songs aren't boring and they're have more than 5 minutes in each song. They sound different than everything you've heard and the album flows well in your ears. The sound has modern elements, but the talent from the line-up impresses you from the first note.

I can highlight for you the songs "Misanthropy" "Fallen Statues" and "Shrivel" so you can confer the talent from SENSE OF FALL.

If you like a strong band with modern elements, talent and a dark atmosphere, you must like the new SENSE OF FALL EP.<
