SEITA the Thrash/Death metal band is back again to grace our ears with their second release "Maledictus Mundi". I would have to say if you can imagine a better and more aggressive PANTERA this band is for you. The vocals by Michel Gambini are fucking perfect for this style of music. The band as a whole shoves metal straight through your ears directly into your soul.
The first song on the album is "Coward to the Lions" which lays out the temperament for the entirety of "Maledictus Mundi". From its gripping riffs from Michel Gambini and Pablo Minoli, to the Bass played by Mike Heuvel and the heart stopping Drums blasted by Damian Lopez. This opening track made me grin from ear to ear. The next song that stood out to me was the track "Burn the Skies" which starts off with a slow deep riff that slowly builds right into the extreme metal that I adore so much. Hard hitting and chugging like a roaring freight train. If you don't appreciate this song, you must not enjoy metal. And the solos are very fitting in this track.
"Merchants of Death" is another one I really liked a lot. It definitely made me feel like a kid again with it's pure style of Metal. And for a band from Amsterdam they sure nailed the sound of Metal from the Southern United States. "2299" is another that stood out to me ass kicking Metal at its finest. The breakdown added a whole different feel to the band as well. My favorite song though has to be the last song on the album "N.W.C.". This song goes hard as fuck and had me wanting to go out and punch a baby seal. I would never do that of course but that's just how intense this really well written song was. This entire album is the epitome of just pure unadulterated Metal. If that's what you are into I recommend getting this album as soon as you can.
