Secret Sphere - A Time Never Come (Reissue) album cover

Initially planned to re-release "A Time Never Come" exclusively for the Japanese market, the band and their label Scarlet Records thinking it will be cool for all the world territories to have the chance to listen with the current line up ! Mission accomplished as said Aldo Lonobile.

And what an amazing idea guys! this "A Time Never Come" re-released is just absolutely a total blast, if you are a lover as me of the Symphonic power melodic metal. For those who don't know this Italian band, SECRET SPHERE started playing the usual fantasy power metal with a lot of speed, catchy songs and keyboards. Moreover, this album is amazing in terms of concept album. Divided in four chapters, "A Time Never Come" tells the story of Aurienne, a young woman that finds a weird magical sphere when she's affected by a mortal disease.

The new arrangements are not only new but really beautiful with a lot of great melodies, the amazing voice of Michele Luppi (one of my favourite singer in the metal planet, in my top 3 no doubt!) described these new perfect arranged songs and gives them what they missed out on the first release with the first singer. The founding member and mastermind of SECRET SPHERE, Aldo Lonobile, give us some really "incredible" riffs and his heavy and catchy solos that water my eyes; what an amazing guitarist he is!

Some gems featured on this album as "Oblivion" "Legend", the Epic "Brave" perfect as soundtrack for a fantastic movie... The first notes of "Emotion" reflect themselves the meaning of the title, "Lady Of Silence" is the cream of the cream with the cherry on the top, probably the best song of this album, where Michele Luppi's performance is just ....fuck, I've no words anymore to explain my emotion to hear this song.

The power ballad "Mystery of Love" that's what I call a ballad, it's a masterpiece...!!! The solo and guitar riffs parts are delightful, captivating! The last track "Dr Fautus" is the perfect song to finish this strange & secret voyage into the sphere, one more time the chorus is catchiness as possible, one more time, Michele Luppi gives me some chills on my skin.

To close this journey into the dreams of "A Time Never Come" re released.... SECRET SPHERE shows that Symphonic metal, Heavy metal and Power metal, can coexist perfectly, to my taste, this is a top notch of the year in  power metal albums, I salute the great interpretation with full energy, magic and strength of Michele Luppi & Aldo Lonobile, thanks you guys, Thanks you SECRET SPHERE!
