Ladies and gentlemen, you're now falling into the depth of the Norwegian extreme Metal end, where every single release is becoming more and more matured and more interesting than the previous one, and to be more specific, I am talking about the super group metal band SARKE. After the two huge successes of the albums Vorunah and Oldarhian, this super group continues butchering the Norwegian Metal fans with more killer tracks and enjoyable tough headbanging environment. If you have no idea about this group then I recommend you to check their official Facebook page, because you're missing a lot.
Now let's shut up and try to understand the huge sound that the members are creating in this record; Sarke is merging his TULUS odors and mix them with the modern DARKTHRONE spits that have been added by Nocturno Culto himself, while Asgeir Mickelson is providing his technical progressive skills, and that's not everything, because you still have the magical touches of Steinar Gundersen (from ICS VORTEX project and SPIRAL ARCHITECT) and Anders Hunstad (the current keyboardist of SATYRICON), now you do the calculation. It's cursed, its damned, its headbanging and bewitched, that's the best way to describe the dusty sound of the band that will consume your brain cells in a very greedy and excessively way.
To describe the genius music of this supergroup band I will have absolutely no words, because the musical structure itself has many sides, a headbanging side where you can lose the bones of your neck, and a melodic side where you can lose your reality and have your own musical orgasms, and finally a very dark side where the compositions have the ability to build their own world of demons and evilness. It's really shallow here to recommend you specific tracks from this record, because every track has its own decayed taste, so all you have to do is to move your ass and get your copy now from Indie Recordings and start enjoying one of the best Metal albums of the year.
The hardest question now is this: Which is my favorite album for Sarke? I have absolutely no idea how to answer this question because this group simply can't stop creating masterpieces.
