Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SAMMY HAGAR AND THE CIRCLE; signed via BMG Records, hailing from England & the United States of America - performing Rock, on their debut album entitled: "Space Between" (released May 10th, 2019).

Since formation in 2014; the supergroup in question have 1 Live Album entitled: "At Your Service" (released May 19th, 2015), and this here debut Studio Album entitled: "Space Between" in their discography so far. 10 tracks ranging at around 34:51; SAMMY HAGAR & THE CIRCLE arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting, hardened Rock developments. The "Devil Came To Philly" begins the record; conveying an electrified anthem, fusing a lot of acoustic elements amalgamating into a barraged frenzy of harmonic hymns in which seem like an amplified biker foundation. "Full Circle Jam (Chump Change)" continues this rotation; fuelled with catchy adrenaline, while ultilizing versatile vehemence & uniquely solid seamlessness – smothering radio-friendly flamboyancy & crunchy aesthetics for good measure.

Consisting of VAN HALEN vocalist Sammy Hagar himself; (also on guitars)... who consistently contrasts an abundant amount of clean, high-pitched lungs...pipes of rawly rough ramifications and boistrously distinguished creativity. "Can't Hang" implements complex dexterity from lead guitarist Vic Johnson; converging blistering rhythms, relentless virtuosity & thunderously dynamic firepower. Injecting infectiously groovy frolicking; as "Wide Open Space" embellishes on experimental elegance, as audible bassist Michael Anthony (also on vocals) frantically forges a borderline tradition of punchy yet peachy strums – showcasing snappy quirks & quintessential stability that rivet with thumpy skill... transistioning razor-sharp riffs with salubriously vibrant solos that pulse with organically profuse substance & robustly progressive technicalities.

"Free Man" excels with energetic finesse; demonstrating diligently composed expertise, fluidly polished manifestations that revolve through meticulous songwriting subtlties –  supplying meaty shreds & stomping roars of mightily ripping silver linings. Hammering drummer Jason Bonham batters his steel with slamming fabrications; "Bottom Line" bouncies into inventively hasty distinctions, distributing light-hearted doses of easy-listening/wildly rushing melodies that portrays proficiently prominent yet old-school embodiments of gang-chants & enchanting charms of classical instrumentation. "No Worries" establishes concrete gnarliness; embellished on aforementioned abilities while wondering with prestigious musicianship, moving with rapidly swift nimbleness & ponderously momentous orchestrations.

"Trust Fund Baby" strikes with more mellifluous memorability; screaming with rambunctious speed, enlightening fulfillments & positive vibes of self-confident concepts, captivated into a euphonic soundscape of slick patterns that flow into an enjoyably entertaining drive of flourishing detail. "Affirmation" is immersed with more weighty hooks; generically simple perhaps, yet full of kick-ass jumpiness & juicy overarch's of remedious results. Overall concluding "Space Between" with the finale track: "Hey Hey (Without Greed)"; I am compelled to say that SAMMY HAGAR & THE CIRCLE certainly is an interesting listen, however...I feel like I have heard it a bunch of times before, and it doesn't feel incredibly phenomenal - if you are a fan of Sammy, it is definitely worth the listen - otherwise - not so much.
