Salacious Gods - Sunnebot album cover

Here we have the second album from Salacious Gods. I must admit that the first time I listened to the cd I didn't like it at all but then again you can't understand everything from the first time so after some hearings I came to the point of actually enjoying the album.
Sunnebot seems to have been created very carefully since the music varies from song to song, still though there were times that they reminded me a lot of Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of filth.
In my point of view these guys have really tried to avoid the stereotypes of black metal and kinda succeed themselves too, on the other hand there are some things that you just can't avoid since they contribute as a sort of rule created by older bands (im NOT talking about Cradle of Filth Here) in creating this kind of music. In general the Salacious music is dark, filled with haunted keyboard melodies and speed created by devilish shredders (guitar players) accompanied by blast beats that can crack skulls. It should be noted somewhere here that Axeman from God Dethroned (Guitar) is also performing as a guest.
The production of Sunnebot has nothing special; we just have the typical production of an album pleasant to listen at without any disturbing sounds or any reduction in the sound quality.
Surely Salacious Gods can do a lot better than Sunnebot but still it remains a good album for a fan to buy.
