Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: ROSSLYN; signed via Sliptrick Records, hailing from Spanish grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their debut album entitled: "Soul In Sanctuary" (released 4th September, 2018).

Since formation in 2015; the band in question have a Demo entitled: "Day Of Eternal Faith" (released September 5th, 2016), and this here debut album entitled: "Soul In Sanctuary". 8 tracks ranging at around 45:10; ROSSLYN arranges an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal developments. "Legacy Of The Battler" begins the record; conveying an acoustic introduction, as it advances with boistrously bouncy grooviness. Amped with adrenaline-fuelled aesthetics; flamboyantly contrasted with a grandiose manifestation of meticulously organic rhythms, in which is amalgamated with unique substances and a vastly vehement songwriting skill. Adapted with constructively distinguished elements that implement inventive heaviness, with harmonic melodies and rhythmic relentlessness.

Consisting of Borja Callejas on vocals; the frontman demonstrates diligently composed pipes of high-pitched persistency, as "The Chapel" excels with complex attributes of rambunctious ramifications of profusely robust stability - distributed with infectiously injected screams that steam with proficiently progressive technicalities. Dextrous guitar duo Jorge Martínez (on lead) & Tomás Menéndez efficiently contribute elegant riffs and solos that have a catchy consistency to it in songs like the conceptual yet captivating "Day Of Eternal Faith" & the dominate yet prodegious "The Pilgrim's Progress", both establish blistering and thunderous results of riveting orchestration - while experimenting with hardened, operatic hymns for a more epic experience. There is a lot of rapidly swift nimbleness here, created with dynamic craftsmanship.

Like a battering ram on drums - Mikel Insausti hammers his steel with solid pummelling professionalism, showcasing concretely gritty crunchiness in the memorably original "The North Remembers (A Red Wedding)". Portraying fluidly polished finesse, elegantly uncompromised ultility and exquisitely performed versatility. On the audibly, pummelling bass - Josë Luís Lorente also contributes enlightening executions of frolicking chugs that gallop with gnarly diversity in the next belter: "Path Of The Saint". "Weirdmageddon" is fun track, forged with fabricated variety and sonically systematic seamlessness. Extremity is not the exemplary factor here, just enjoyably entertaining yet uncompromising Heavy Metal characteristics - followed by mid-tempo stampedes and salubrious instrumentation & musicianship.

Overall concluding "Soul In Sanctuary" with the finale song: "The Insect God"; the borderline foundation with ROSSLYN is energetically distinctive expertise, supplied with punchline slabs of savagely raw orchestration. Bottom line; I discovered a band who certainly outdone themselves for their debut deliverance, fuelled with silver lining efficaciousness & a linear narrative that will most definitely grab you - have a listen.<
