Rise To Fall - Restore The Balance album cover

Formed in 2006, the Spanish act recorded its debut album "Restore The Balance" in 2008. Soon after that, the band caught the attention of DISARMONIA MUNDI's Ettore Rigotti, who is also the man behind Coroner Records. He took care of the post-production of the album, dressed it in a brand new cover artwork and released it through his label. He must have seen something in them...

Well he might have actually seen something, since this Spanish quintet impressed me with its solid modern melodic Death Metal. Their music is not in any way different from most of such bands out there, but what is intriguing is that they have managed to produce 11 (ok, 10 and an intro) songs that sound tight as fuck, have catchy melodic choruses and really good riffing. The sound is also crystal clear and heavy as it should be. Dalay is also an extra for the band since he can handle brutal and clean vocals with ease, as he proves with his performance in this album.

As I said above, nothing that will shake your foundation but surely a decent melodic Death Metal release that will please fans of acts like SOILWORK, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, SCAR SYMMETRY etc.
