Reckless In Vegas

RECKLESS IN VEGAS was thrown at me from the priests and priestesses of Metal Temple and it took me a bit to get my mind into it all, I mean all I saw was 'cover band' with a ribbon and some serious production behind it, but being that they do have 'Vegas' all around them, the land of tribute shows and fake-stars all around it slowly made sense.
And then? Then I looked a lot deeper and listened. What I found was a group that does have some slick work going on but the music is slick too. Taking songs from the 50's and 60's and remaking them in a modern way as their own and you know what? I like it. That's saying something for someone having a tough time with all of the cover bands getting all the attention these days on any local circuit, but at least these guys took it to a completely new level.
Of course, having the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore on it kind of grabs the attention as Rumer Willis joins in on "Can't Help Falling In Love" which was done here almost has an EXTREME vibe to it and Rumer can sing.
I guess you really have to go follow the bands links and get to know them yourself as describing what they have done with these old classics is an injustice to just how almost original it all came out. I look forward to learning more and seeing what they do next.
